Blessings and curses
Most people think that the bible is only for religious people. What I discovered through reading the bible is that this information is not just for religious people. This information is for all of us. The blessings are for all of us if we line up for them and the curses are equally available to all of us if we invoke them. The bible does not belong exclusively to the Jewish people nor exclusively to the Christians. Sure the bible was written mainly by Jewish people and certainly is an amazing history book but the truth of The Word is for all of us and applies to all of us.
Bestselling book of all times
Right through history this information about curses and blessings and eternal life has been available in a book which has been on top of the bestseller list as the bestselling book of the year, every year.
Although it is impossible to obtain exact figures, there is little doubt that the Bible is the worlds best-selling and most widely distributed book. A survey by the Bible Society concluded that around 2.5 billion copies were printed between 1815 and 1975, but more recent estimates put the number at more than 5 billion.
By the end of 1995, combined global sales of Today’s English Version (Good News) New Testament and Bible (copyright for which is held by the Bible Societies) exceeded 17.75 million copies, and the whole Bible had been translated into 349 languages; 2123 languages have at least one book of the Bible in that language.
I’ve often grabbed this book throughout the years and for many years all I could see was the wars being fought by the kings and other characters in the book. Now I think that may have been because I was living in quite a bit of turmoil myself and at the time those stories obviously resonated with me, much as I disliked it.
Eventually, with the help of a kind teacher, I came to understand the profound lessons of this good book and the promise and reality of living for ever.
Stop struggling like crazy
What God’s Word has taught me is to stop struggling like crazy and I would like everyone else also to have the opportunity to do the same and feel the happiness and experience the peace and love that cannot be bought for any amount of money or effort.  God truly made me to laugh.

The forbidden book
This bestseller will tell you how to have a great business, a great marriage, how to raise great kids, and how to deal with the inevitable sorrows we experience in life. There is not a question that I have had in life which has not been answered by the masters who wrote this wonderful book which is also called the scripture of truth and by some is called the forbidden book. I find the book is such a good read that I cannot stop picking it up and make it a daily habit at meal times to get a dose of the good stuff just to keep me on track.
Not everyone enjoys reading though and some people even struggle with it. Others have such busy lives that they would appreciate a synopses of the main points. I’ve created just that.
Easy enjoyable ten minute read
I am so very keen to share with others my new found freedom and happiness and peace of mind that I have distilled some of the topics of this great book into an easy ten minute read for which you need no reading glasses; guaranteed!
Why did I distill this information? Because scripture instructs us to tell our children about God’s Word and we all know the attention span of children.

This blog is about living forever and before I continue I will recap what the previous posts were all about.
It is with Adam and Eve that the concept of living forever was explained to humanity. Adam and Eve taught us that disobedience to our maker gets us in big trouble, so much so that they were both thrown out of the garden of Eden as a result of their disobedience.
God gave Sarah and Abraham a son in their old age and this made both of them laugh. Abraham was blessed because he obeyed God. The same with Noah and Joshua and Caleb.
How to obtain ongoing happiness is linked with living forever because it is in the giving and in the losing, not in the getting nor obtaining in this world, that happiness and eternal life are achieved. This is also addressed on my page God Hath Made Me To Laugh! There are some great links on this page with regards to happiness.
The greeting of Living Forever is a royal one and I pray for all my readers to be living forever.
Beats me, why Americans stand a better chance to get to heaven, but it appears to be, at least, mathematically correct.
The never ever give up address is one of my favourite talks given by Naval Admiral William H. McRaven at the University of Texas at Austin. I believe that, to achieve anything in life that’s worth achieving, we’ll need to apply the tenacity spoken about by the Admiral. I’ve fought for my life and begged for my life to be restored to me and God is good and is answering my prayers and I’m so stoked that I want you all to know about it and laugh with me.

Our baptism story relays our attempts to get baptised and what Jesus says about being born again.
If there is a church heaven then people who hang out with their church buddies may already be living in paradise and the rest of us will just have to figure out what the go is for us. According to scripture, obedience to God is closely related to living forever.
Who are the children of Israel? According to the bible, the children of Israel are those who consciously choose to align themselves with the Creator of heaven and earth. Those who purposely and deliberately choose to follow his guidelines are considered blessed.
The Samaritan story as told in the bible and relayed in the post, Is it possible to live forever? tells us in clear language that eternal life, according to Jesus, is linked with God’s Law and love and we’ll get into more detail about that later.
My story, I Thought It Was a Little Angel, talks about one of my personal experiences with depression and I learned from that episode in my life that despite our very best efforts, society hasn’t really got a handle on illnesses such as depression. Sometimes society’s methods works and often they don’t. God’s method has proven to be foolproof for my family and myself.
The story which has been voted the funniest religious joke of all times highlights the hypocrisy of religious people when it comes to loving each other.
Jonah’s story shows us that God cares about those who do their own thing as much as He cares about those who profess to follow Him. That is exactly what made Jonah so mad, the fact that God is merciful to all and not just to the religious few.
