Happy Mother’s Day to all Mums in the World – The Greatest Compliment
This post is in memory of my Mum. I also created this post last year.

Thank you Mum for introducing me to Jesus. Thank you for the parables and the love you shared with me for the Son of God. Your daughter is continuing the tradition and I am forever grateful that you introduced me to the most important Man in my life, Jesus.
He promised us rest, Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
I pray for all Mums to find rest. Not just on Mother’s day, my wish for all Mums is to realise every day of the year that Jesus has our back.
I know that during the COVID19 season many Mums saw their homes convert into offices as well as schools. Your job may have tripled in volume and significance. People around you got sick and needed care and you provided and still are providing that care, and some of your charges died.
And yet, you keep going. And you continue to be that pillar of strength for all those around you. You are the best and without you, this world is nothing and has nothing worth having. I applaud you!
My prayer for all the world’s Mums for the coming year is to be blessed beyond your imagination. You are amazing angels sent from heaven! (2020)

My children organised a ‘Mothers Day Luncheon’ last year. To honour the visiting Mums and in memory of my Mum, I searched for memorable, funny and to-the-point quotes about Mums and Motherhood.
On Mother’s Day, we scattered the various quotes on the lunch table, held them down with little pebbles and heart chocolates, and the only challenge on the Day was, to get to the chocolates before the puppies did.
